Lake City is an informal borough or district of neighborhoods in northeast Seattle, centered along Lake City Way NE (SR-522). Lake City is located between Interstate 5 or 15th Avenue NE and Lake Washington, about 7 to 8 miles (11 to 13 km) northeast of Downtown and east of Northgate, stretching from between NE 85th and 98th streets to the Seattle city limits at NE 145th Street,[1] centered along its main northeast-southwest principal arterial, Lake City Way NE (Washington State Route 522, commonly SR-522).
